Feasibility and Collaborative R&D Competitions
With a vision for the UK to be a global leader in innovation, the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) have identified numerous focus areas across science, engineering and technology.
Funding competitions are launched to support both SMEs and larger organisations to participate in industry-led collaborative projects and increase their innovation investment.
Feasibility studies are typically small-scale technical assessments of early stage research attracting up to 75% funding.
Collaborative R&D projects seek to develop highly innovative and underpinning technologies or processes. Projects can range from focussed basic research aimed at establishing technical feasibility; through to applied research and experimental development. Funding typically ranges between 25% to 50%.
